Staying warm? I want to just hibernate and stay inside until Spring, but with two littles I often feel cooped up and feel the need to get out.

That being said, when we are at home, I often hunker down and make satisfying comfort food, and love, as many people do, making soups in this weather. What are your go-to Winter soups? Butternut Squash is a definite, I also love making Potato Leek and French Onion. My all-time favorite is Italian Wedding.

  • still on the porters and stouts and cider with Bourbon, though my new fav is Pomegranate juice and Koval whiskey
  • comfort food (fried chicken, mashed potatoes and Brussels anyone?)
  • chasing the littles
